Last Monday, 6th April, I attended a talkby Prof George F.Smoot,2006 nobel laureate in Physics n Director of the Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics. This talk was held at Auditorium Cempaka Sari, Kompleks Perbadanan Putarajaya,Precinct3. Actually, this was Perdana Leadership Foundation Programme, which was set up in 2003 with the aim of preserving, developing and disseminating materials by an on M'sia's past PMs. This is part of program of the "Bridges" event series from Nov08 to Apr09 in M'sia and Thai.Prof George conducts research in astrophysics and observational cosmology,and is most famous for his research on the cosmic background radiation. this radiation is thought to be the relic of the intense heat of the early Big Bang.
